Dr. Dekel Rosenfeld is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tel Aviv University.  She got her BSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in the field of tissue engineering. She then performed her postdoctoral research in the Bioelectronics Group in Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she developed the magneto-thermal stimulation approach of peripheral organs, using magnetic nanoparticles exposed to alternating magnetic fields. She later continued as a Research Scientist in MIT and extended the magneto-thermal approach for other modalities including nerve regeneration.
